Shop Southern Illinois
For the past two years, Highline Ideas has sponsored the Shop Southern Illinois initiative. Shop Southern Illinois is a joint campaign by several Southern Illinois Chambers of Commerce to support local businesses. The initiative encourages area residents to take a pledge to shop locally during the holiday season.
Jackson CEO
Highline Ideas is an investor in Jackson Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO), a new program available for Jackson County high school students. The program selects students through a rigorous application process and utilizes area businesses as classrooms. The students of CEO visit dozens of businesses each year, and are guided by mentors through the steps of starting their own business.
